First and foremost, we are much more high-brow than that fishwrap the “Quibbler” so we are not sure why players are still tying us together.  None of that matters apparently to Bryce “the Man” Harper who made a statement today with three (yes, three) homeruns in the afternoon game against the Marlins.

Harper’s representative made this statement:

“The Quibbler’s irresponsible reporting earlier this year is now put to bed for good.”

This is apparently a response to our report found here:

Worst Pick: Bryce Harper ($36) – He has never hit more than 22 HR, 59 RBI or batted more than 533 times.  Potential is just that, potential.  Plus, he is a real asshole.

Spainard’s management had this response:
